Smart style, compact size, and excellent performance combine to make the Sangean ATS-808 radio a favorite.

Frequency coverage includes long waves, medium waves, all shortwave and FM (stereo headphone jack). Five tuning methods: keyboard input, auto-scan, manual scan, memory recall, and two-speed manual rotary tuning.

The attractive tricolor LCD display shows a frequency display up to 1 kHz, signal strength, memory status, dual local UTC clock, and band. A wide narrow selectivity switch really helps in crowded small wavebands.

This radio is great. It's a good choice for anyone who wants a compact portable full coverage but does not need a Single Side Band (SSB). It is very sensitive and has a very smooth manual tuning button.

The left side of the radio has a headphone jack (3.5 mini), an external antenna input jack (mini 3.5 mm), and 6 VDC input jack. There is also a switch for DX-Local Sensitivity and Wide / Narrow Selectivity FM Stereo / Mono.

The right side of the radio has volume, a manual tuning button plus switches for quick adjustment/slow/lock tuning, radio lock, radio/buzzer, high/low volume, and MW 9/10 kHz. This radio has 45 large memories.
