REL creates a complete line of high-performance subwoofers for use in dual-channel audio and home theater systems. REL subwoofers can be driven by a pre-amplifier, an amplifier, or both (which is important in many home theater installations). They go extremely well with a wide variety of speakers.

The REL R205 is not a traditional subwoofer, but rather a true sub-bass system. The REL R series is designed to increase the performance of "full range" speaker systems and provide a linear response below 20Hz. Properly covered, it will withstand a lot of adverse conditions. Unique for REL are the connection options.
