TERMS OF COVERAGE OF THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT & SERVICE DEPARTMENT:

 

WARRANTY & SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

NEW PRODUCT WARRANTY

  • All new products from reputable manufacturers sold by our company are covered by the respective factory warranty, which ranges from one (1) to two (2) years, depending on the product or according to the manufacturer’s or official distributor’s policy. For certain product categories (e.g., home appliances), the warranty may extend to 5 or 10 years.
  • The factory warranty is provided exclusively by the manufacturer or the official distributor, in accordance with their terms and conditions. Our company acts as an intermediary for the warranty service process.

AFTER THE EXPIRY OF THE FACTORY WARRANTY

  • After the factory warranty expires, service for all products (audio equipment or household appliances) is undertaken by our company ILIAS THERIOUDAKIS SA – STEREO PARK SA, following the process outlined below:
  • The Technical Support & Installation Department handles inspection, maintenance, and repair of products up to seven (7) years old, provided that spare parts are available from the manufacturer or other suppliers.

  • For products older than seven (7) years, due to potential unavailability or discontinuation of spare parts, we attempt repair using compatible parts or inform the customer about possible partial repair and expected waiting time.

  • Customers are required to provide the device’s fault history.

  • A deposit of twenty euros (€20.00) is required for device acceptance and initial diagnosis.

  • A preliminary inspection (initial assessment/diagnosis) is conducted, followed by timely notification regarding repair cost and spare parts.

  • If the customer declines the repair, the device is returned in its original condition and the €20.00 diagnostic fee is retained.

  • If the device is repaired, the deposit is deducted from the final repair cost.

  • Devices shipped from Athens or other regions must be delivered to our company headquarters at 30 Alexandras Avenue, Athens, during store hours.

  • All shipments are made at the customer’s responsibility, and transportation costs (to and from our company) are borne exclusively by the customer.

INSPECTION & REPAIR PROCESS

  • The initial diagnosis requires 2–5 business days.

  • Repair time typically ranges from 5 to 20 business days (Monday–Friday), depending on the fault and spare part availability.

  • If additional time is required due to pending spare parts from Greece or abroad, the customer will be informed at the contact number provided.

REPAIR APPROVAL & COST CONFIRMATION

  • Repairs or spare parts costing up to €100.00 are carried out without further customer notification.

  • For costs above €100.00, explicit customer approval is required, along with a €30.00 deposit toward the spare parts.

  • If additional issues arise during repair, the customer is notified again and explicit approval is required to proceed.

  • If the customer does not approve of the additional work, the device is returned as received.

SPECIAL CASES

  • Some repairs may involve risk or reveal pre-existing damage. In such cases, the customer is informed and, upon acceptance, work proceeds at the customer’s responsibility.

  • Customers must keep personal data backups, as the company is not responsible for data loss or corruption during repairs.

  • Old spare parts are recycled unless the customer explicitly requests their return upon device drop-off.

PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)

The company processes only strictly necessary personal data (name, phone number, email) for communication and service purposes, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Technicians do not access personal files unless they relate directly to the repair.

STORAGE FEES

  • Repaired devices must be collected from 30 Alexandras Avenue within ten (10) business days after notification.

  • After 10 days, and provided the customer has been informed, a storage fee of three euros (€3.00) per day applies for up to sixty (60) days.

  • After sixty (60) days and following documented notification, the device is considered abandoned and may be sent for recycling.

WARRANTY OF REPAIRED DEVICES

  • Repaired devices are covered by a six (6) month warranty from the date of delivery to the customer (labor & spare parts).

  • The warranty covers only the specific fault that was repaired.

  • Any different fault is treated as a new repair case.

  • The warranty is void in cases of external interference, extreme weather conditions, or damage caused by power surges.

  • The company is not responsible for data loss and is not obligated to retrieve lost data.

ON-SITE SERVICE CHARGES

  • Standard on-site visit fee: €60.00 for one hour.

  • Each additional hour: €30.00 per technician.

  • For two (2) or more technicians: €50.00 per hour per technician.

  • Outside business hours (09:00–17:00), charges increase by 50%.

  • After 21:00, on Sundays, or Public Holidays, charges increase by 100% or as mutually agreed.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The following are not covered by warranty:

  • Products not purchased from our company.

  • Turntable cartridges, laser pickups, microphones, speakers, headphones, lamps, and similar consumable components.

  • Devices tampered with by unauthorized technicians or damaged by lightning, short circuits, fire, or power fluctuations.

  • Any work or intervention after delivery that results in new damage.

PRICING POLICY

  • Service invoices or repair receipts are payable by cash, bank transfer, card, or IRIS upon device collection.

  • The above prices do not include VAT 24%.

  • The company’s pricing policy may be modified without prior notice.

TERMS OF ACCEPTANCE

  • By delivering a device to our company, the customer fully accepts the above terms governing receipt, inspection, repair, storage, and return of devices.
  • The company’s liability for any service-related claim is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that specific repair.
